Payments

Payment for RCAT workshops can be made online by credit card (VISA or Mastercard) or by UofT debit memo (by providing CC and CFC account numbers). Workshop fees are subject to GST.

Workshop prices are listed on the individual workshop pages, which you can link to from RCAT’s Workshops and Seminars page. UofT faculty, staff and graduate students are eligible for discounted workshop prices; the regular price for workshops is $100/session. Staff at affiliated teaching hospitals are unfortunately not eligible for the discounted prices.

If you are a UofT library staff member, the fees for workshops offered by RCAT are waived. However, if you register for a workshop and then do not attend, your department will be charged. Therefore you must provide CC and CFC account numbers when registering.

• Central Library staff should contact Edith Sinclair for CC and CFC information.
• Other library staff should contact their supervisor or business officer for CC and CFC information.
• Library staff at federated colleges should contact RCAT before registering.
  

Waiting Lists

If the workshop you are interested in is full, you will be provided with the option to add your name to the waiting list. If a spot in the workshop becomes available, you will be notified by e-mail. If, when you added your name on the waiting list, you selected UofT debit memo (CC/CFC) as your payment option, you will automatically be registered in the workshop. If, when you added your name on the waiting list, you selected Credit Card payment, you will have three days to contact RCAT with your credit card information in order to register for the workshop. (Unfortunately, your credit card payment cannot be processed online.)

Cancellations

Registrants who withdraw from a workshop or workshop series at least three full business days prior to the workshop will receive a refund.

Because of the costs involved in booking and providing the workshops, RCAT is unable to provide refunds to registrants who withdraw less than three full business days before a workshop.
