Interlibrary Loan

The Interlibrary Loan Department helps the university community by finding materials not held within the University of Toronto Library system.

We go to great lengths to obtain materials requested, even to the ends of the earth. In 2005/2006 we helped students access  over 70,000 items from other Canadian and international libraries.

Following are the services provided:

• request and obtain books and journal articles from  UofT campus locations
  
• request and obtain books and journal articles  from other libraries, including other university and medical libraries
• requests for materials can be placed directly from your home or office computer via the Gerstein homepage; see the link re Request articles or Request books links.
